Professional Fees
Fees for anaesthesia services are determined by the complexity and duration of each procedure, the clinical needs of the patient, and the specific circumstances of the case. An estimate of fees can be provided in advance of your procedure where possible.
Dr Clarke's billing is managed by Probills. For any billing enquiries, please contact Probills directly or reach out via the contact details below.
Private health insurance may cover a portion of anaesthesia fees. Please check with your insurer regarding your level of cover. Out-of-pocket costs will be discussed with you prior to your procedure wherever possible.
Generally, patients will received full details of expected fees 3-5 days prior to elective surgery.
As a specialist anaesthetist, Dr Clarke is committed to providing transparent and accurate information about fees to ensure patients can make informed decisions about their care.
All of Dr Clarke's fees are Medicare-rebatable. Your out of pocket costs will be largely determined by your choice of health fund and level of cover.
Private health insurers have continued to increase fees but have not continued to increase rebates at the same rate, so over time out of pocket expenses have continued to increase.
